Goal of the project

The goal of the project is to facilitate the access of young people with mild to moderate intellectual difficulties to the labour market by the provision of appropriate and adequate information to the target group comprising people with intellectual difficulties and their potential employers.

The objective of the project is to study good Bulgarian practice and compile it in two guidance documents in a systematic manner — one (in an easily comprehensible format) intended for people with intellectual difficulties and a second one for potential employers.

Activities

Activity 1: Piloting and compiling a systematic review of the experience of employing (on a full-time basis) of young people with mild to moderate intellectual difficulties
Activity 2: Compiling a guide to employment comprising easy-to-read materials on the right to employment
Activity 3: Testing the easy-to-comprehend guide with clients of the centre
Activity 4: Developing a guide with materials designed to support the employers of people with intellectual difficulties
Activity 5: Pre-print and publishing of 2 guides on the employment of people with intellectual difficulties
Activity 6: Promoting the guides and the piloted good practice

The duration of the project is from April 2015 until October 2015.
