The Worlds Day Centre will host a workshop titled "People with Intellectual Difficulties in the Labour Market – Mission Possible" on 8 October 2015.
Various stakeholders, including representatives of local authorities and NGOs, providers of social services for people with intellectual difficulties, social workers and subject-matter experts will discuss the integration of people with intellectual difficulties in the labour market.

The workshop will aim to present the achievements and the experience gained by Maria's World Foundation with its Supported Employment Programme, which facilitates the integration of people with intellectual difficulties in the employment environment. Two publications, developed by the MWF team with the financial support of the Agency for Disabled People, will also be introduced at the workshop. These are "Opportunities shared in first person singular", a manual for employers wishing to hire people with intellectual difficulties, and "I am starting a job", an easy to understand guide which explains to people with intellectual difficulties how they can find a job.
